Sometimes it is easy to take for granted all the great things our children do. It was awesome to arrive in class after break today to find all the children doing their readiing- either reading books or on Lexia. The part that was funniest to me is that on Friday we normally head to the library after break and don't do reading the normal way at all! Sometimes it is extremely hard to change their routines.
The children have routines, but also choice within those routines (eg could be reading, Lexia, reading games, listening to stories on the ipad)
Next steps:
Continue with strong routines and regular communication about changes to routines.
